What is the 30 Day Fitness Challenge?
The 30 Day Fitness Challenge is something we offer in November, March and June. Instead of having classes just twice per week, we up it to 5 days/week for a 5 week period. Mondays we do cardio, Tuesdays we do strengthening/skipping, Wednesdays we do plyometrics, Thursdays we work on core and we finish the week off with another cardio day on Fridays. On the first class of the challenge we do a fit test and we encourage everyone to go home and record their weight and waist circumference, and take a "before picture" of themselves. On the final day we do the same thing so everyone has an objective measurement of their improvements over the 5 week period.
We usually offer an early class for this at 5:30, and a late one at 7:30. The 6:30 class continues twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays for those who cannot commit to the 30 day challenge.
The cost is $70 and we take 50 people in to each class.
To top off a great 5 weeks of hard work and determination, after the fit test on the final day of the challenge everyone receives a t-shirt with "I Survived the 30 Day Fitness Challenge" written across the back, and that evening we celebrate with food, drinks, and even a few awards. (Please note the t-shirts are not included in the registration fee. We order them through Terry's Tents for usually around $15).
